EPA Signals It Will Ban Toxic Chemical Found in Paint Strippers

On Thursday, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) shared it will follow through on a proposal from the Obama administration to ban paint strippers containing the toxic chemical methylene chloride. Even though since taking office, Scott Pruitt has been focused on undoing Obama-era environmental and safety rules, but shared that the proposed ban on the chemical would be the exception.
